What?!?!?!?
<t>Government has no business legislating abortion or birth control. During the first triemester, a decision to abort should be left up to the individual who is pregnant. After that time, it should be a medical decision based primarily on the woman's health - both mental & physical. Not ever ...

You've provided a variety of options, but no answer of your own. I'll give you an E for effort, but that's all.

Iraq's getting on with the show.
<t>This thing has become a real quagmire. Iraq is going nuts - despite a massive military presence. Iran is doing a lot of barking about wanting to do nuclear for peaceful purposes. Right. Now there's some talk of Iran funding Hamas should the rest of the civilized world cuts them off. Muslims all ...

I've amassed a variety of talents over the years and am just as comfortable using a stethescope as I am using a 3/8" ratchet & socket set when changing the plugs on my old F-150. Presently I'm a consulting "guru" at a local Home Depot.

Maple syrup......
Genuine maple syrup is carefully graded by color and clarity. It is not found in any significant percentage, if at all, in commercial pancake / waffle sweetners.

P.U.I. Gotta love it!
It's most always beer - thirty, if you want it to be. Other enhancements are generally more preferable. A green leafy substance comes to mind, making my eyes red even while thinking of it!

A bus driver's lot is not a happy lot.
<t>I worked with the San Antonio, Texas transit system for 10 years. There are some truly thankless jobs out there, and driving city transit bus, dealing with the bus riding public and the accompanying traffic delights certainly one of them. Other thankless jobs might be trash hauler or school bus ...

Not a vote, but are you for or against more supermarkets?
A well run supermarket is a delight to visit. Locally we use a chain called Publix. Very clean, well stocked, and a generally pleasant & responsive staff. In this general area, the independent grocers tend to be ethnic and are more like specialty shops.

Hello from Ruth
Greetings to you! I had the opportunity to visit your country while stationed in West Germany with the U.S. Army during the 1980's. Come back to the states for a visit anytime.

What is your favorite beer
<t>Choosing a favorite beer is tough. So many choices. Also depends where you live, although in this day of efficient commerce, selections across the country are more varied than they were even 10 years ago. Europeans have access to many brands that simply don't make it across the ocean to the U.S ...

Would You Back Military Action Against Iran?
<t>Jives, I tend to agree with most of what you've said. When we were facing the U.S.S.R., for example, who'd ever thought airliners would be weapons? We'd certainly seen examples of public suicides (i.e. the monks immolating in Viet Nam) over the years, but to the extent of the last few decades ...

Thanx for the fine welcome, one & all.
The town I'm in is along I-85, not 75. I rarely go to Atlanta for anything. Virtually everything I need or want on a regular basis can be located within 5 miles of my home.
