Whoops..!! Not good but that piece can be replaced. It fried the battery most likely and you will need a whole new casing for the battery, plugin and plug. Buy a new laptop might be cheaper.

Believe it or not some Geek shop might just have the part your looking for. All Laptop parts are modules, well the newer ones are.
