Laptop clock...

Right! I need someone to help please....

This is driving me up the wall :-5

The clock on my laptop is ALWAYS wrong!

I've corrected it twice today and it is now running about 6 minutes behind!

WTF....???

Could be the battery all PC and Laptop clocks have them.

You got the laptop this year? a six minute drift inside a day isn't reasonable at all. If it's not usually that bad then it might not be so hard to fix.

For the moment, call up the clock and tell it to auto-adjust. If it still drifts a long way we can find out what's causing it.

spot there doesn't seem to be an option for me to "auto adjust"

You're using vista?

If the clock still drifts we can bring down the sync period so it does it every hour. We might also work out what bit of software is lying and tell it to stop.

OK.....

I'm still having problems with this.

I fix it and within a day it's running slow!

At the moment I'm running at least 5 minutes behind :-5

Anyone got any ideas?
