what makes you happy??? Your job is not a answer. For you work-aholics. I love planting new plants. Or taking a garage sale find. turning into a cool planter. But I guess Flea markets and craft fairs are my passion:-4

shopping, eating out, sleeping in, sunday breakfasts, sundays generally, sex, snuggling, singing, finishing my run, baking, karaoke, dancing, first glass of wine, olives, the newly decorated corner of my verandah, haircuts, fresh nail polish, fresh sheets, empty washing basket, new curtains...sorry got side tracked, not all pastimes, just things that make me happy! :)

I search for free samples. When I get them, I put them in a big basket. Once the basket is full, I take the basket to our local nursing home. The seniors there have really no family to speak of and they love to pick things from the basket. To them it's like Christmas and I only order samples I think they need or can have some fun with. I also get free samples and coupons for our local animal shelter and donate those as well.

That's really sweet of you. Do you just do a google search online for samples?

I find I am happiest when physically active and playing volleyball, golf, pickle ball, having sex.

Surely he wouldn't be using pickles as an analogy there? :wah:

Ooh, I would hate that game. Not a fan of bats and balls.

Looks good for fitness tho!

What makes me happy?

A good book

Nice coffee

Music

A hug

Being on my own

Time to think

Lying in bed listening to the rain

Writing a letter to a friend

Being independant

A letter/email/text from someone I love

A nice hot shower or bubble bath
Very nearly perfect ... :D

For me it truly is my job. It's only my second year as a special ed teacher so it's still my new toy. The prep work sucks big time, don't get me wrong, but when I'm in the classroom with my kids I get energized.

Later when I get a handle on this I want to get back to throwing pots (making pottery on the wheel).

Long walks with the dogs on a breezy day, the beach, singing, scrapbooking with my daughter, listening to music, reading, cuddling up with my husband to watch a movie, running with the dogs in the backyard, fishing, camping, white water rafting..seriously i could go on and on. :wah:

I buy pickles, remove them from the store jar, then put them in a mason jar.

When people come over and comment on my diligence it makes me feel really good about myself.

You could do the same thing with those little miniature corns if you wanted.
