I sponsor a little girl in Nepal.

Why? Because once my brother and sister were little pictures on those cards they send you, and my parents adopted them. They were given another chance at life. I think of it the same way, by helping just one at a time, we can give them a better life.

My favorite charity is the Red Cross. I don't give money.........I give blood.

Why is it my favorite charity? 'Cause I can give my blood.

I've decided not to give to any charity that accepts money from the federal gov't. I don't believe that's proper use of my tax dollar and there are too many strings attached. They're not easy to find, though.

I research church charities and donate to the ones that make the most efficient use of each dollar.

Purple Heart and Salvation Army - they take all your old clothes and give them to the veterans of all wars. Although the SA does have a few stores around here and sometimes you can luck out with great buys.

Here is one that the States should do:

‘Adopt a Tomahawk Cruise Missile’ help your military budget.

The military will provide you with the serial number of the missile you adopted, and give you regular updates on its deployment.

If used, you will be informed where, when and how many terrorists it took out.

You will then me given the opportunity to adopt a new cruise missile.

Sounds good to me¦
