Have you noticed how quiet the news has gotten?

The last few days i have noticed fewer and fewer news stories about our economy, the fed government bail out-what happened to that? nobody seems to be talking now..have they all moved out of the us?:p

Why is the news so quiet all of a sudden??????????????????????????????

I'd have thought the election was quietened too, with the contender off in Hawaii.

That's where he's from, though you'd think he was born & raised in Illinois to listen to his campaign. His Grandma's in Hawaii, and she's become pretty ill. I don't know the details, but it's serious enough for him to go be by her side.

Wall Street...... Down 6%

Japan.. Nikkei....Down 7.59%

Hong Kong ....... Down 4.7%

Falls in ....Australia.. New Zealand...Russia....North Korea

I predicted a 'depression' in 2005 I was wrong and a couple of years off, but no matter cause it looks like everyone else did too. there were laws brought forth that didn't make sense ........but now i get it . It all makes sense now.

we haven't heard anything here about the masses moving to Australia. :wah:

and our country is made up of immigrants, no one begrudges anyone wishing to move here. A lot of people do have an issue with illegal immigration though....

Apparently you haven't been watching Good Morning America, they keep reporting on the economy daily. Did a lengthy segment this morning on it, as of right now we have 27 states that are in a offically in a recession, have reported negative earnings 2 quarters straight.

are you talking to me? :-3 I didn't mention anything about a recession. I'm wondering about all these people from England and the US that are supposedly leaving our countries.
