Quote of the Week
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'
Thomas Jefferson 1802

Gordon Brown said yesterday in The House of Commons that we will have a recession.
It is blind to think that we won't and even with all the good he has done to help the country, we can not help but head this way.
This week Gordon Brown announced he will be changing laws that the small business-man must be paid by bigger business's within 7 days invoice and not 28 days as it is now. This is one of the things that has crippled the small business man and the annoucement is welcome news. Once again, he has recognised that it's the 'money men' who are at fault for treading on the hard working man in the street.
Gordon Brown it appears is trying to stave off a budget and infact we have seen fuel and food prices slashed this week after Brown behaved all 'Scottish' again with the fuel pumps threatening them with enquirey's.
The job axes in Britain will be from the down-fall of the money men. It is the big retail stores and business's that are feeling the pinch now their investments are at risk after Gordon Brown bought out the banks.
Once again, the average man in the street will suffer through the over spending of the fat cats. They did this, there is no-one else to blame.
It is not the governments fault.
At last we are seeing a Prime Minister who seems to be looking after his people and leaving the fat cats to be left hanging dry.
There is a dreadfull situation in Ireland where their government announced they were axing health care for the over 70's. We haven't seen Gordon brown even think about any of these measures yet and any government stupid enough to try it, will risk the election.
The problem we have here is immigration.
I always had problems raising this in local council. If you dare approach the subject, you are viewed a racsist. The fact is that here, Britain has been far too generous in opening the doors to Eatern Europe and now British folk will find re-employment difficult because 30% of our work-force is foriegn nationals.
Under Blair and his cronies, they created a 'nanny' state where employers were 'forced' to take on the foriegner for fear of prosecution from the courts for discrimination.
I'm hearing Brown say the right things of late, i just hope he follows them through.
