Ok no butchering this thread like you guys did in my "Admit it" thread

Anyone ever wind anything? Anything at all. I have one a small transister radio many years ago (to embarassed to say how long ago) and a bottle of baileys long ago, and have had no luck for a long time now. I haven't even won a seat on jury duty ahahahahaha

Do you think some folks are luckier than others at draws Give aways, lotteries?

I´ve only ever won one thing....a fridge.....sounds good but it was on a day out with the works. I had to bring it back on the bus and if that isn´t bad enough the bus dropped me and my fridge off on the main high street and of course I could´nt just pick it up and carry it home....I stood like a lemon wondering what to do when a friend of mine was passing, so between the two of us we carried this fridge about quarter of a mile back to my house........and guess what.....it never worked. :wah:

Years ago, I won an all expenses paid trip to Chicago to see the opening

of the Blues Brothers' summer tour... stayed at the Ambassador West

Hotel, ate at some ritzy high-floor restaurant I don't even remember the

name of with windows that went right to the floor and scared the bejeezus

outta me... wait I think I have a matchbook... The 71? Anybody recognize

that? Great concert with Jake and Elwood at their absolute best!

On the plane ride over, we were wearing Blues Brothers ties and buttons

and the stewardess (hey, back then that's what she was!!) found out

where we were going, announced it over the intercom and gave us a

bottle of champagne!!

Most ponys aren't broken...........Ever wonder why?

They never had a man who knew how to BREAK them on their back.

Sorry but true.

Let's see...

1. I won a case of diapers when my first son was born... Huggies Supreme! It was great, since we were dirt poor back then. The only catch was that I had to pay sales tax on it. :-3

2. During a bunco game I played when I was 15 with a bunch of old ladies (friend's of my mom) I won a glass beveled vase and it was what all the other ladies had their eye on. I was the first to win a round and got first pick. :p

3. I won tickets to an all winner only concert back in 1992 for 91X radio station. It was 6 bands with acts in between like Pauley Shore and Los Lobos. That was amazing. I shared the other ticket I won with my big brother. :guitarist

4. A turtle dish at a work seminar. Door prize raffle. The thing is so cute, I keep pot pourri in it.

I think I have better luck than average. On top of it all, I think my kid inhereted a lucky gene from me. He won a bike at a raffle at his school. :D

Hey. I was 11! I did my best with what I had. Or are you saying my momma's not man enough for a shetland? Okay, considering she was scared of it you may have a point.

The two tax systems are very different. Sometimes we can have too much taken from our paychecks, so we get a refund. I'm surprised Uncle Sam hasn't figured a way to label that as taxable income. :wah:
