Visa Requirements Increased

I received my six month multi entry Visa for going to New Zealand on the 4th. I had to submit 16 pages of questions, old passport, new passport, financial data, medical data. In the 20 years that I have been going to NZ I have never had to jump through these kinds of hoops. I talked to someone at the New Zealand Embassy in Los Angeles and they said it was due to the increased requiremnts that the U.S. has imposed on folks coming here for more than a short stay. Wow, that is alot of paperwork! So you use a Visa, and not a passport? I ask, because I have never had a passport.

You should come to Britain Lon... You can just walk straight in, well through the Channel tunnel or by boat actually. :wah:

The sixth month multi entry visa is a paper that is glued to one of the pages of my U.S. passport by the NZ Embassy in LA. My wife, with both a New Zealand and U.S. Passport and of course being a NZ citizen, does not require anything other than her New Zealand Passport.
