Where Are You Ina Koss?

It was 1943 and I was in the fourth grade. Damn she was pretty, jet black hair in pig tails, big green eyes.I followed her around the playground and she never even knew it. She sat right in front of me in class and I could smell the soap she used, I swear. I don't think I ever said one word to her, nor do I remember her ever saying anything to me, in fact, she never acknowledged me in any way, but I was in love anyway. Ah well, it was not to be. Ina was a Jew and I was a Gentile. I knew she was Jewish because she wore a little Star of David on a chain. In the area that I grew up as a kid, Jews and Gentiles were not encouraged to be anything more than just classmates.

I think of her sometimes and wonder what ever happened to her.

I saw the guy I had a teenage crush on in my hometown just the other day. It's funny as he knows I really liked him, he always grins and acknowledges me though.

I had a crush on a guy at school and the last i saw of him was at 16.

About a year ago i joined Friend's Reunited.

He sent a pic via e mai, i clicked on attachments and there was a 50 yr old fat bald guy with yellow teeth grinning back at me.
