IF THERE IS A CREDIT CRUNCH IN BRITAIN, YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE GUESSED TODAY.
I have just done a full day on a Royal British Legion stand near my home in a busy supermarket.
Dispite the economic situation, we have a fantastic day's taking's. The great British public were even stuffing £10 notes into our tins.
Little children were pinning their poppie's on their coats with pride.
It will be interesting to see what the over-all takings are compared to last year.
Don't forget your poppie's this year FG members....... I shall keep reminding you!!!!!

We had to drive round and round just to get a parking space. I helped my hubby's boss out last night and manned his take-away. It was the busiest night i have seen in a year. Take-away orders of up to £40.
If there is a credit crunch, no-one has told the UK.

Got to say also....I had to go to London today and driving back into Essex we wanted to stop for some lunch at a pub and yet the car parks were so full at all of them we gave up and went local and even that was quite full even at 3.30 with everybody eating and funny enough Chris and I was saying about how people are spending money even though things are so hard at the moment.
