Time to revive The Mystery Gardener

Post by koan »

Since the inception of this game, FG has acquired a casino and, therefore, a method of rewarding those who play games.

The original rules to this game were:

Here are the rules:

We have a week to figure out who it is

If you ask a yes or no question the Mystery Gardener must answer

You may ask any question but the Mystery Gardener doesn't have to answer unless it is a yes/no question

It's on the honour system but the Mystery Gardener must not lie in their answers

If we can't guess who it is the Mystery Gardener wins

no asking letters in the person's real username

if you make a guess as to who it is and you're wrong you can't guess again until the next game

There is no commentary thread, we are all working together to figure it out

and we will be adding that the Mystery Gardener gets $100 casino dollars for every 10 questions they answer without giving away who they are. If they get to 100 questions they win the game and $1000 casino dollars

Is everyone ready for another round of The Mystery Gardener?

We'd replace the week time limit with the number of questions criteria.

I don't think anyone made it to 100 questions before so the $1000 reward if they succeed would be a bonus to the accumulated 100 per 10 questions.

One of the important rules is that members are only allowed to guess once if they think they know. If they are wrong they are "out" until the next game.

Should there be a reward for guessing who it is? I'm thinking $100 to the member who correctly guesses

I was much hurt by that game. I took every precaution of disguising my persona and cunningly creating an entirely new style and then everyone on FG said they knew it was spot every time I posted. The mortification of that moment will live with me for ever.

When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.

We all pray for guidance and the one who's moved most gets to name the next contestant.

I'll be in charge of the account and handing out the password. I change it each time so only the new player can access the account. I'll hand out the awards from my casino money too.

I'm just waiting to hear back about a minor detail to make the game a bit harder. I'm planning on getting the game started tomorrow.

Anyone have any ideas for improving the rules?

My camera battery's uncharged. That's my excuse anyhow and I'm sticking to it.

Tell me, did you write that your battery had discharged and then rethink it?

You're psychic, you're not meant to display your talents in public like that.
