Men and women shopping
I went clothes shopping this morning because that's just what us girls do.
As i have noticed before, at the very entering of a shop, Mr Oscar suddenly loses the will to live and wanders off aimlessly.
This is the point where to ask weather he thinks your bum will look good in that pair of jeans, only to find he has wandered off and your talking to some-one elses's husband. He turns out to be far more complimentary than your own husband so you want to take him home instead.
This lack of interest from Mr Oscar suddenly does a U turn when we enter the electrical or hardware store, then it is i who wander off losing the will to live.
What's your hubby like shopping for women's clothes with you? Or do they even accompany You??

I even took my daughter to Cribbs yesterday. I'm quite civilized. And yes, she was buying jeans.

My hubby is very very good, his attention span when i am shopping for clothes can sometimes stretch to ten whole minutes:D then he drives me barmy by picking things up and saying what about this? this is nice? only thing is they are usually items more suited to an 80 year old!:wah:

Yes, i know the feeling. Mr Oscar has learnt through experience that he is met with a look of scorn when holding up some hideous item to say, "This would suit you". He doesn't bother to go there any-more.
When i hold up a fabulous black item, I get Mr Oscar immediately saying "Well that will show every dog hair", Or "That won't wash well". Or the best one is
£50 FOR THAT!!!!!!!! :-5

I go shopping by myself, Mr. Chonsi doesn't get around that much. So I get to shop for him too, he must like what I pick out for him, because he wears it!
If I am taking out daughter #2 for shopping, I must schedule a whole long time slot, she does like to browse around. I usually get bored, and bring a book along while she is trying on racks of clothes. Oh, that is nice to have time to stop and eat, spot, you are a wonder.
I still buy most of clothes via internet, and will do the same for Christmas presents. Much more convenient, and no lines to wait in. Time is something I don't have alot of, so it must be budgeted more than the bank account.

Love shoe's..... I was looking at winter boots this morning. Saw a lovely pair of white suede one's to die for..... Typical..... Mr Oscar immediately says "Well they will show every bit of dirt :-5
Then, what he really gets narked about, is i buy the jeans, the top or a dress, then say to him "Right, now i need shoe's to match, oh, and a handbag, oh and a coat or jacket to match, and while were here, i might as well have a scarf to match and those earrings......:wah::wah:

How odd, Mr Oscar buys alot of army surplus for fishing gear and i do borrow the odd item at times.
He recently ordered some heavy duty camoflage trousers and jacket on the net for fishing, (Yeah, like the fish won't spot him in that lot!). When they arrived, they were marked, M.O.D Falkland Islands Issue. How old???? He was very pleased with them.

Although, I want to go to Next with Spot too! I love that store.

This is always a fun topic for me to talk about. You see, I HATE SHOPPING! if I need something new, my hubby will drag me to the store, I'll pick out a couple of things to try on, then he starts bringing in more and more clothes. He knows my taste extremely well and is very good at picking out things...then I get sick of trying on stuff and start throwing a temper tantrum...stomping my feet and saying I wanna go home! Then of course we HAVE to go look at the shoes on the clearance racks. He also knows my taste and size in those and will keep bringing me more boxes...I just tell him I dont like them so I don't hafta try them on. He went out by himself awhile ago and just bought me an outfit...It's gorgeous and fits.
When our girls go shopping, they want me there for my opinion, but they want dad there more cuz he'll let them get more. :wah:
He refuses to go grocery shopping with me cuz I'm not too nice there. Almost got into a fight with another woman at Walmart cuz she pissed me off.
Hubby loves working in an office and shopping. I love working on cars and hate shopping. We are backwards. :wah::wah:

I think it is best if you are on a new outfit mission is to go it alone or take a trusted girlfriend . Men are hopeless cos if you say does my bum look big in this, then they will say no as they are scared of the punch on the nose and being sent to the sofa if they say yes.:wah:

My boyfriend and i are pretty compatible..he will shop with me in the clothes stores and i go with him in the hardware department. He likes to grocery shop..i just follow along and sneak stuff in the buggy like my kids used to do..:p
