Arrived New Zealand

Post by Lon »

I arrived NZ via Sydney yesterday after a 26 hour marathon since leaving home. Spring is a bit late as I arrived to be greeted with cold wind, rain and hail. Never got to hear the election results until getting to Sydney where Obama's win seems to be well accepted my most Aussies and it also appears that Kiwi's feel likewise. I had a good 10 hours of sleep last night and now feel rested and ready to do the KIWI THING.:guitarist

What a strange route!

Rest up a bit more after your first day out, go for a bracing walk, read a newspaper, enjoy the summer. A few months exploring NZ is right at the top of my want-to-do list.

It was actually 16.5 hours of flying time. The rest was airport waiting, security, immigration etc.

I had to use my Frequent Flyer Miles for this trip and United Air Lines does not fly to New Zealand but does fly to OZ.
