Where or how did you meet? Did you know right away it was meant to be??

We were both volunteer police officers at the time, on duty in a neighbouring town for its carnival. Paired with other officers and stopped to chat in the town centre. Met again a couple of weeks later at his town's carnival and married 8 months later!

Yes, I knew it was serious straight away, he was a widower with two young daughters and needed more convincing!! Bless him.

I was running away from a relationship I knew was bad for me. I moved in with my sister. She told me, "There's going to be a guy here to help. I don't know why I never thought of it before, but you two will be married within 6 months." The last thing I wanted was a relationship. Well, we met June 29, moved in together Aug. 4, married Dec. 13 of the same year. That was 22 years ago and we're still together.

the short version: :p hubby was traveling through the US (from Ireland) and of all the places he could've ended up, he ended up getting a job at the same place I did. I had the flu from hell but I really wanted to get a job there and each week I was too sick to make it and I kept thinking I missed my chance but finally 3 weeks later I was well enough to go in and I got hired right away.

I totally believe his dad had a hand in that even though I never had a chance to meet him (he passed away 3 years before I met hubby). :-6

So, we worked together for about 5 months and then we started dating and moved in together a few months later and got engaged a few months after that. And we've been together for almost 15 years now.

We met at Mc'Donalds where I was manager, Mike came in for an interview and he was hired on the spot!:yh_whistl

-3 weeks later, we were dating, I asked him out!:yh_party

-1 month later, he moved in

-2 years later we were married

17 years later, growing stronger each day!:-4

I was dating his best friend for about 6 months before I met him.

(He had moved away from the area and only recently moved back).

The first time I met him he looked into my eyes and kissed my hand ..... :-4

and I fell ... hook, line and sinker! :-4

First Hubby I worked with in the Bank. Thought he was the right one but wasnt:-5

Met second hubby at a club, he was a musician, I was very wary took 8 years before I said yes to his marriage proposal and we have been married now for 22 years :-4

we met in a grocery store. i was looking through the tortilla shells, looking for fat free. He came up behind me (on crutches) "Baby you don't need fat free, You are beautiful". Yes Ladies i fell for that line. We have been together for 15 years. NOW I NEED THE FAT FREE:wah::wah::wah:

we went to high school together, we were in different grades but we rode the same bus since we only lived about 5 miles apart!

i spotted him on the bus one day not long after school started that year, but wouldn't you know, he was sitting with another girl! :-5

anyway they broke up after a while and we started talking, and calling each other on the phone, then we started sitting together on the bus.

our first date was to the county fair that fall, he tried to kiss me goodnight but i turned my head at the last minute and he got my cheek! :wah::wah:

anyway we dated for about 2 years and were married the day after Christmas,

that was about 25 years ago! :-6

We met where I used to work as a mechanic on Dec 14th. He was instantly lusting over me. On New Years eve I got him to kiss me (Ok, I started lusting after him too) and we officially started dating Jan 13th. We both dumped our other spouses within a week, so our first date was the day after I kicked my ex out. We we're married Dec 5th, which means our 17th will be coming up very soon, and he's better looking than when I married him...he's gorgeous.
