Could be your mouse or touch pad settings check them first the site wouldn't stop you from scrolling. Go into your control panel and check your mouse settings first. ;)

While you're at it, you might check your keyboard too... it seems to be missing a few letters.

Is this just happening on FG or all web sites?

what if you use page down or page up keys?

Any plugins for the browser that might be a factor? try turning them off.

what about a different browser? If your using internet explorer, try firefox or google chrome..

does this happen after a reboot? Restart the pc.

Is your operating system (WINDOWS) and browser up to date for all security fixes?

if none of that works, then try a full security check for viruses and other malware is in order.

Could someone have tampered with your settings, maybe do a system restore to a couple of days ago when it was working ok?

Check your keyboard usually in the upper right above the number keys you should see a "Scroll Lock" Key I uses a ergo keyboard and mine is at the top. If its on turn it off (you should see a light go off, or message pop up telling you its off) then try scrolling. If its off turn it on then try scrolling. I forgot about the scroll lock key on keyboards. :o

Are there control key setups in the site that we don't know about??

It should be the scroll lock key or the mouse settings. It could be a browser setting but not sure if there are any specific to scrolling. If there were it would effect every site.

Can he switch to another PC and see if FG works OK on another PC? If it does its in his setting on the first machine mouse, hot keys, or keyboard. He could even swap them out and try that.

Scroll bar is there, correct?

If you move the mouse into the scrollbar area, will it scroll down if you use the down arrow on your keyboard?

Did we determine the kind of mouse it is? If it's one of the older ones with the ball, it may just need a good cleaning.

It sounds like a dirty mouse... try putting it down on a blank piece of paper and rolling the crap out of the rollerball... does it work now? If so then it just needs cleaned out.

Have you tried the arrow keys on the keyboard, too?

Is he using either IE or Mozilla for his browser? Also, on which threads did it function properly?

Erm... he said only one or two posts are showing, but... what thread display mode is he using? Linear? Are any posts cut off? Also, is his computer running abnormally slow?
