Type A, B, C and H
Type A, B, C and H
Anyone care to tell me your type based on these descriptions alone? No need to take a big long online test. This comes straight from my psychology book.
Type A are your workaholics. They are competitive, ambitious, hate to waste time and are easily annoyed. They have a constant sense of pressure and a tendency to do more than one thing at once. They are often successful but rarely satisfied. Type A’s also find it difficult to relax and are known to take their work with them on vacation.
Type B could be considered the opposite. They are not competitive and not driven. They are easy going, slow to anger and seem relaxed and at peace.
Type C people tend to be very pleasant and try to keep the peace but find it difficult to express emotions, especially negative ones. They tend to internalize their anger and often experience a sense of despair over the loss of a loved one or a loss of hope. They are often lonely .
Type H, also known as The Hardy Personality, actually thrive on stress. Hardy people have a deep sense of commitment to their values, beliefs, sense of identity, work and family life. They feel they are in control of their lives and what happens to them. They interpret events as a challenge to be met and answered instead of being frightened or avoided.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm a C btw. My psychology book also says Type A's are likely to have heart disease, Type C's to have cancer, Type B's to live longer and Type H's to be more successfull.
Does anyone wish they were a different type or happy where they are at? I think H characteristics would be great to have.
I was also told I was a "A" back when I worked a bagazillion hours a week. They based this just by my hours worked, which always confused me till now.

Beliefs are anathema, values are invariably relative, I want to be lots of people with lots of jobs, and families are the outmoded remnants of bourgeois-capitalist ownership.

I've always been considered a type A personality, for the most part.
I believe that type theory is far too simplistic a means of personality assessment and doesn't fully account for variances in individual personality, however.

That's because you're type A. :yh_glasse If you were type C you'd think the same way but wouldn't say so, and if you were type B you wouldn't care one way or the other.
