Do You Use Smileys When You Post?

I for one don't know what i would do without my smileys! :-6

They are a big part of how i express myself on here! :guitarist

I'm happy to have Charlie in the front room btw! :yh_rotfl

but i have noticed as i roam around the garden that a lot of people don't use them.

I find sometimes that when i talk to someone who doesn't use smileys that i find myself a little unsure, i don't know for sure if they are serious or joking or happy or angry or what.

I'm sure Spot remembers the $300 bat incident! :sneaky: :wah:

I have noticed that most of the folks i have encountered who don't use smileys are guys!

so it makes me wonder, is it a guy thing? or are there some of the ladies here who don't use smileys too?

it makes no difference to me though i enjoy talking to everybody here in the garden smileys or not, i was just curious. :-6 :guitarist :wah:

Guys and girls sometimes use smilies, I don't use them all the time, it depends.

i've found that when i'm talking to someone who doesn't use smilies i tend to not use them either.

i never use smiles when i'm talking to Spot!

the fact that he doesn't use them makes me feel like when i'm talking to him i shouldn't use them either!

but if he secretly loves it then i'm gonna start using them when i talk to him too! :sneaky:

to often we really don't know if someone is serious or joking around when they don't use them and can be very confusing when going to post.

just wish we had new ones.:-1

I love smileys!

I mostly use the green guy because that's how I am in person too. I smile a lot.

I think they help communication online because then you can tell exactly how someone meant something they said.
