Cheese makes my dogs phart

Post by Oscar Namechange »

I have just realised that it is the cheese that give my 3 dogs the 'flabby woof woof's' as they are called in this house.

As we are both great cheese lovers, i am now experimenting to see which type of cheese in particular produces the loudest or smelliest 'flabby woof woof'.

Would anyone with a dog like to help the experiment along???

Thanks Kathy. going by that, they seem to say that a little does them no harm. I don't give them huge amounts, just a bite as a tit bit but i noticed today that the pharts come after we have had cheese which is when they are likely to get a tit bit.

Isn't it hilarious when you have a new puppy and they phart for the first time??

They look round for where the noise has come from :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

My male pharts, gets up, gives the cat a filthy look and walks off in disgust :yh_rotfl

I have to say, that my dogs pharts seem not so common. Maybe i'm just lucky especially with 3 of them.

They get a christmas dinner on christmas day complete with brussel sprouts. That's when the serious methane appears. Phewwwwwwwww :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Everything i have ever read tells me that it's only really chocolate that is dangerous to them. I suppose it's what they can tolerate.

I just think back to the days when there was no canned or special dog food and like my gran, she fed the dogs from all the family left overs including bones. I really don't know.

Mine eat fox shyte, so surely that can't be good for them??

chocolate for sure! my own son's dog almost died from that, they had left wrapped chocolates out, they were always left there, dog never touched them,....they went out one night, came home and their dog devoured the wrappers and chocolates, thank god they knew enough to rush her to the vets.

I think your right in what they can tolerate.

one of four cats cannot tolerate things the others can, perhaps a weaker stomach.
