What with dirty peasant feet stomping and Siberian winds, you're a great spreader of good cheer today, Spot. The beaujolais was not bad at all.

As for "hola" - I heard this began in the south as the Moorish invocation of the name of God. ????? You are our enthusiast in this area, maybe you can enlighten us here????

Back home again and the weather was pretty good Pam (compared to England) :-6

My nephew flew in to Barcelona to spend the evening and it was lovely to see him.

It's good to be home though. :-4

Sounds wonderful, Abbey!!! I had a couple of lovely days in Barcelona. And it only rained at night. Spent most of one of the days wandering Las Ramblas and side streets, just soaking up the atmosphere, street theatre, markets.. drinking wine, chatting up the locals - kind of Parisian, in a Spanish sort of way. :sneaky: I managed one good photo of a fallen street angel.. will post it in here.

Oh well, I edited the photo, tried to upload it using the way we're now told we have to do or else, by managing attachments. I'm informed - and this happened before and I lost all my private messages - that I do not have the necessary permissions to upload a photo - and then I'm invited to become a Supporting Member... etc etc. I am a supporting member.. sigh.. or thought I was. Think I'll go in search of coffee and reality.. pam exits with an even more decorative flounce than usual, and a more meaningful doorbang
