Save Poor 'Knut' The Polar Bear

Post by Oscar Namechange »

This story has sickened me.

This Polar Bear has made world news before when he had to be hand reared.

Now, he has made his zoo an estimated £8.5 million in tourist prices, they want to dump him because he costs too much.

Just another animal 'disposable item' when it suits.

Then there was the killer whale in the 'free Willy' film, mind you, i queued for hours when that was advertised at my cinema and it wasn't the willy i was thinking of :yh_rotfl

Poor Knut. However, i do feel that he will get a new zoo. I'm just hoping it's the one a few miles from me.

Do you remember 'Elsa' the Lion from the 'Born Free' film?

She was housed in Paignton zoo and we used to go to see her as kids when we holidayed in Devon. So sad.:mad::mad:

The reason i'm so annoyed is that this zoo made mega bucks out of him, now they can't afford to keep him.

I think there would be world wide outcry if they just dumped him so i'm hoping a zoo near me will take him. I'd love to see him close up. :-4:-4:-4
