Record Takings for Poppy Week

Post by Oscar Namechange »

Last night we attended the local branch of The Royal British Legion to hear the final tally count for poppy collection in our small town.

Other area's of our city took between £11,000 and £12,000

Our small branch with just 600 local war vets took an astounding £50,419

Once it again we show the world of the true British feeling toward our brave men and women who fought for us in The Great War and WW11.

Once again, The British showed that 'We will never forget'.
