Will someone please explain to me why Tom Jones the singer was made a Sir fgs.His earnt millions and lives in the USA because of our tax laws.This kind of thing really does annoy me so much.....a Sir indeed.

I don't know..I think his music stinks.. guess I'm too young for his generation. Heard Dean Martin on the radio this morning singing some cr*ppy Christmas song, pretty pathetic. Thank gawd, I had the snooze button on the clock:wah:

Jealous NO......Bloody annoyed.....YES. Give titles to people who DESERVE them not jumped up big headed over paid artists that left this country because they didnt want to pay our taxes on their millions.

There is an explation Carolly made up by our Queen woman.

It's a cunning ploy to make out that Britain has people that are good at stuff.

It matters not that they **** off to live in a better tax haven. She can knight them as long as she uses the 'For service's to' blagged title.

Sir Jaggs is another one who only lives in this country for 90 days to avoid tax, however, I'll let him off because he deserves his for his contribution to british charity such as 'The prince's trust.

Jaggs was knighted for 'Service's to music'.

Since then, Queenie can apply the same to who ever she wants. She evn offered a knighthood to Kieth Richards for 'service's to inhalation of chemical substance's'.

We will have to live with it Carolly... It's the British way to reward people for doing bugger all.

I think the knighthood should be bestowed upon our own Jimbo. "Sir Jimbo", the friendly. "Sir Jimbo" the funny. Sounds good to me.
