I think they were after everyone, not just SuperGordon. Fortunately they did not suceed, if indeed the EU Summit was their intended target, then every European country has had a lucky escape, so congratulations are in order for the Belgian police.

This is only down to the excellent anti-terrorism intelligence we have through-out Europe. It would have been a nightmare if they had of succeeded. It would have included other European leaders as well, but i can't help but think this was direct at Brown only for Britain's part in the Iraq war.

They don't get Super-Gordon that easy.

They waited a year to take out the entire Al-Quaeda cell rather than just take one or a few.

The blowing up and death of any man.. a father and husband.. however badly you think he runs the country... is not funny.

If Al-Quaeda had succeeded here, you would be looking at a bomb scale of Bali or the London tube bombings.

If you even wished Gordon brown dead, terrorist bombings are indiscriminate. They would have taken out probably hundreds of innocent people..many..fathers.. just like you!!
