The Starter Wife

Post by Kindle »

USA heavily promoted The Starter Wife before it began this year. It got so that I actually groaned when it came on. I thought when the season started, the commercials for it would abate. But NO. There are as many or more now.

I hate it when a station tries to shove something down my throat. They must have, at minimum, two-three promos on every hour. I hate seeing them.

Due to these commercials for this show and how affensive I find their tactics, I WILL NOT WATCH THE STARTER WIFE!!!!

Do you watch the USA channel? Are there alot of commercials on in your area promoting this show?

I will never watch this show. I do not want to hear about this show. I will not watch any other show with this Debra Messing either.

Why is this person, this show, getting so much publicity?

Do you have any clue as to why they are pushing this so hard? Usually when they advertise something so strongly, it is because it isn't very good and would not otherwise stand on its own.

You will not watch it on the box with a fox...or on train with a pain or would you consider eating green eggs & ham?

That’s very interesting, and would make for a good marketing study.

It is currently being heavily advertized here as well and it is putting us off as well. Also I do not think that even the title of the show is any good. It sounds insulting.

Exactly.

This is interesting that it is spread over a large area........... I haven't previous been aware of any TV show being pushed this hard. The cost of these ads can't possibly make this show profitable for them.
