ARghhhh bad start!

Woke up this morning to frozen water pipes, so not hot water at all. Only cold water in the kids bathroom. It dropped down in the negatives last night, and I was so tired I didn't think to turn a faucet on.

I'm sick, went to the ER yesterday afternoon, so am on antibiotics. And to top it all off I have a meeting today with Zakk's teachers. I'm making firebird attend the meeting too, so that one of us is clear headed enough to discuss things with the teacher. I would cancel, but I canceled last Monday, since Zakk and I both had the stomach bug.

I can't be sick! I have to much to do this week and a wedding this upcoming weekend. And I can't skip it since both my kids are in the wedding.

Uggh...!! Sheryl I feel for you. Bundle up and it will be over soon then you can come home and go back to bed.

Thanks guys! Just a whiny moment! I just hope this meeting goes good, cause I'm not really in a good mood, and could seriously get vocal if I hear the wrong things from his teachers.

once your anti-biotics kick in, you will feel stronger.......try and get some well deserved rest.

Wow Sheryl, as the saying goes: If you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all! It can only get better, can't it?!

Hopefully it can only get better! I plan on coming home from the meeting fixing me a bowl of chicken broth and hot cup of green tea, then it's nothing but cartoons for me.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone! I went back to my doctor today. She told me I have what's going around. They are not sure exactly what it is, but it's not growing anything on cultures. She put me on a higher powered antibiotics, a steriod, and gave a script for a painkiller. Tylenol nor advil were helping with the pain from the pressure in my ears or my soar throat. I'm a little loopy from the painkiller, but I can swallow now without feeling like I'm swallowing glass.

It sucks though cause I'm not allowed to go around people. So besides missing my son's PIPS performance last night, I'll miss his Christmas program tomorrow night too. And I already feel guilty for asking another mom to take over my duties for his class party tomorrow.

I just now got to feeling better before we leave on Friday. So send some positive beams my way or prayers please!
