Tuesday, my hubby almost got hit head on the passenger side by a driver who went through a red (not yellow) light. Hubby was driving in town, had the green light and was making a left turn. Another truck coming from his right must have pulled out of the gas station there and sped right on through the light. Ugh! Close call for hubby. He didn't tell me about this til Weds.
Today, we were coming home from work. I was driving. I was on the right lane of a four lane highway with a medium in the middle. A red utility truck coming in my direction was crossing the medium to come onto the road I was on. I saw him and saw he had room to pull into the left-hand lane. But.............instead of doing that, he almost pulls into my car on the right-hand lane. Luckily, I quickly glanced to my right, had room to swerve and avoid him. Well, he stayed behind me and I told my hubby, "Watch this". I reached into my purse and pulled out my cell phone. I made like I was calling somebody and making a report. I know the driver of the utility truck could see my actions. Maybe I cast a bit of worry his way.
Anyway, he stayed behind me until I had to turn off the highway to come on home.So please, be careful. We have alot of distracted and stupid drivers out there.
