Our family is dominated by children at christmas of all ages. (I'm expecting the arrival of a new neice Christmas day). The main thing is to watch the kids open their presents and play stupid games.

Every year we have had a ritual of my brother dressing up as Santa for the kids. To this day, most don't know it's him.

We have a wonderfull family video of my brother calling as Santa on all the kids gathered for Christmas eve. It shows my late mum asking Santa crossly, 'have you been drinking?'

As Santa leaves the house walking backwards waving at the kids, he falls over the rockery and dissapears down a hole. We had to tell the kids that Santa was tired after visiting so many children. santa could be heard saying 'Oh shyte.. Where's my sack?' in a drunken slur.

oh happy days
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. R.L. Binyon

We all go to my mom's house. We watch all the kidlets open their presents, eat, and them me and my brothers seem to get quite loud and talk about the past...it's pretty much the same as every year, but it's still a lot of fun. :-4

Breakfast with our son & family, opening presents at their home.

Visit hubbies Mum,presents there.

Back here so the grandkids can check out their presents.

Give the dogs their presents,a new bed & a huge shin bone each.

Down to our daughters for lunch/dinner & whatever else pans out for the day.

Probably swimming, cards, family photos & games with the kids.

No one is allowed to talk about religion or politics. That is the rule:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I hope you all have a great time with your loved ones:-4:-4:-6

That's really sad kay, she doesn't know what she's missing. I know you'll make it up to her, and thankfully she doesn't know the difference right now. :-4

Thank gawd she's just a little baby and doesn't know Kay that her mum is like that. Meline is very lucky to have you and your loving family to be there for her. From what I read on the FOC her mum doesn't show up to see her own daughter and that is a shame. Her mum is missing so much of the beautiful daughter she gave up to you to foster.:-4 You are a great woman to do the beautiful things that you do for these children.:-4
