Merry Christmas from Australia

AussiePam;1092733 wrote: Chezzie - I think that's almost the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me. And heck, I need that today. My older daughter went through a give way sign in pouring rain yesterday and wrote off her car (well, my car actually). Luckily the paramedics gave her a clear bill of health - just bruises and cuts (she was wearing a seatbelt) and - thank God - her son was not in the car at the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He'd have taken a direct hit. I'm still a bit shakey. Grin. Will see them tomorrow. The other vehicle - a big 4WD - is not much damaged.

Oh no, thats awful Pam, thank god she wasnt seriously hurt..Hope you have a brill xmas together :-4:-4:-4

Merry Christmas from Australia

Good morning, Abbey and Kaylene and Chezzie - and Happy Christmas to you all. Nobody else is awake here - it's a beautiful Sydney Christmas morning with a bunch of rainbow lorikeets tweeting outside my window and the sun is shining. My pressie is hopefully going to be phone calls from my son in London and my younger daughter in Paris. Can't wait to hear their voices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Church last night was a feast of music, optimism and excited kids. We're newcomers to the parish and it was lovely to be so warmly welcomed. Ahhhhhh the patter of coffee making feet.... Himself does the early brew honours, and I reward him with brekkie. After which, today, we're driving out into the aussie countryside - to visit our other daughter and her son. (I can inspect the post car accident injuries too which don't seem too bad.. luckily). Can't wait to see Small Person again. It's been nearly a month.. Living with us for so long it kind of got like he was my own son.. miss him. Grin. I'll take pics. Have a great day everyone.... smell of wafting coffee... coming!!!!!!!!!
