:) We didn't have "knickers" and "shillings" here in the States, but I do remember alot of those moments. I was indeed a child of the 50's. Fanks for the memories. :)

Although I was born in 64 I still remember so many of these things.

Thanks Carol for a wonderful walk thru time.

And thanks for your contribution also Cheezwhiz...I am so the calendar person...if I don't write it on the calendar immediately, it's forgotten completely.

You could buy a plate of jellied eels on Southend Pier for a penny as well.
