I bet it's warmer in Tenerife. There was ten degrees of frost outside this time last night, it's not a lot warmer at the moment.

Six degrees of frost, I just checked. Fahrenheit, that is. Exactly the same as Ontario at the moment. What have I done to deserve this? It's new Year's Eve, I should be on a beach sunbathing.

Unbelievably, the weather really hasn’t been that hot here, we’ve had the coldest November and December for over twenty years. As I’m writing this it’s 68 Fahrenheit, still a lot warmer than some of you guys have, so I guess the best thing you can do is hop on a plane and come over for the New Year because it going to be a sunny pleasant 75 Fahrenheit.:-6:D

All this talk about pie n mash, and jellied eels is doing my head in, It’s about the only thing I miss by living in Tenerife. My favourite pie shop’s in Chapel Street, do you know if it’s still there? Shepard’s bush market is that still going too. That brings back many childhood memories.:wah:

Can I just tell all my newfound friends, I’m an middle aged drop dead gorgeous grey haired female and not the gentleman some of you seem to think I am. I don’t have a problem with being thought of as a male but it might cause a stir if, by any chance our paths should cross. There is a possibility of that happening because I’m going to ask if any of you come over to Tenerife for your hols, please think of me and get some pies and liquor, freeze it for me and I’ll willingly pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.:-6:):D
