one day I plan to.

They live in Greenland and the actic here.

They are becoming a very endangered species now, they walk out to the ice to hunt for food, but ice is becoming to scarce now with the climate changing.

My favorite thing is fresh napalm. No not really Im just kidding. This thread reminded me of Apocolypse Now. Although I do love the smell of the old leaded gasoline. And I like the smell of sulfur after striking a stick match. Glue, I do like the smell of glue. Not just any glue but that stuff we had as kids with the little dipper attached to the cover. I guess that was paste. Is there a difference ? Hell I dont know but I remember sticking my nose in there allot.

Speaking of glue I remember when super glue first came out. I brought some home and I told mom to close her eyes and stick her hand out. I super glued her fingers together.

hahahahahahahahaha.....

Well anyway great subject.

I have not told anybody here yet but I have decided to "semi" retire.

Ive worked hard all my bloody life....oh I know so many out there have and maybe thinking ....so bloody what so have I......and if so you will understand what Im saying. At one point in my life I had three jobs going and looking back I dont know how I did it.Of course I enjoyed my singing career and was sad to give it up due to throat problems that now I realise was down to people smoking.......still I have my memories;)Ive also been an Entertainment Agent.... secretary....hairdresser....cab driver (the first in the East End of London and everybody thought I was bonkers doing it lol) Antiques Dealer and also organised Fairs....and last but not least a Market Trader.I had about 12 stalls at one point and business was fantastic but Poundland, The Internet and the Superstores ended that.I still have 80ft of space when I stall out and guess that is the problem.I dont want all the hassle in the Winter.....getting up at 3.30am and going out in the freezing cold.I feel guilty today as I feel I should be out there selling as I had already cut my work down to just weekends but now have decided that if its cold Im just not going to do it.....that simple and yes it is a lovely bright day out there but soooooo cold and remembering how I used to come home from days like this and sit on top of the heater for hours and still not getting warm takes away the guilt inside me of not being out today.

Im not that young woman anymore I have to tell myself and I do suffer with some health problems and its about time I looked after ME the Bills and the everyday hassle of life will still be here when Im long gone and now I think Ive earned abit of a rest. The things I collected over the years tell me I will never starve and surviving certain things in my life also tells me this so until I can go out selling and not be so cold that my fingers hurt and my body aches with it I will just stay at home ....in the warm.....and just think of the money Im losing:-5:-5:D;)

Can't say I ever like being in the cold. It's ok if I'm labouring as that keeps me warm. I hate it when my feet go numb. It's a degree or two warmer today though.

There again, I'm as happy with my own company as anyone else's. That's an advantage. I've always got FG for company anyway.:wah::-6

since I to am retired, I am making a Christmas basket.

-it is a huge basket with a handle, I will shellack it first for sheen, cut a hole out of the back for the string of lights.

It will have holly, red berries, pine cones, pine cone branches, white birch tree branches, and red and green see thru Christmas tree ornaments with 4 see thru bird ornaments. Also bought a string of lights which are clear.

my sister in law has one, it's just stunning with the lights going through all the branches etc.

How did they ever come up with the term 'commando' to describe goin' nekkid?

I first heard the term from my cousin whose hubs could not figure out how to do his own laundry while she was away. She had washed him enough underwear to last the week, left him instructions on how to a load of wash and he ran out of underwear and so went to work in his business suit sans underwear for 2 days:wah:
