Well well well...It's become obvious to me from these past few posts and a few PM's between myself and Micah/David813, that his sole purpose in life here at the Garden is to stir people up. For the first time in many months I will be using my ignore function. It's a shame, really, because I have no problem debating and even heatedly arguing lots of topics. But when it becomes apparent that the only reason a person is involved in an issue is to gain reactions, it's not worth it. I debate things because I believe in them. Not to p!ss people off.

To whoever told Micah/David in private that they thought Xxena was Bullet, you're mistaken, and your private conversations with him (Micah/David) weren't as private as you thought.

UH I"m NO DYKE... got lots of lady friends, we are friends Micah, but I do , and I do mean DO prefer MEN... who are men and are very stout in their indentity as such and not threatned by a strong willed, independent woman but likes the challenge of her as a mate.. that is the guy I married 27 years ago ! That is the guy I met 28 years ago as strong willed and bullheaded and independent as me, but instead of clashing like you and I do.. he and I mesh very nicely... nicely indeed.. enough so to build a very prosperous business, make a good life, raise some kids to be proud of, and NOW>. we look to the future once again together.. just him and me against the world, whatever that might be !

I've heard the chatter for years that men equate their guns to their virality... maybe in some, but not the men I know... Or the one I married.

You are really one sick puppy you know that... hurt people ?? I was a paramedic prior to getting married, and saved more lives than you could even fanthom... but I did learn what the monsters of society are out there and they are those that let their stupidity, ego's and paranoia control them.

You Greeks always have the most interesting names when translated into the English language... HOW do you pronounce that ? Most of the kids I grew up with in Chicago already had their names shortened by their grandparents... can't think of one that had it in the original form.

If you don't like firearms what are you doing on a gun topic ??? that's a tad odd isn't it ? I highly doubt any of the gunowners here are into fighting with people, but when you're attacked by "others" who haven't got a clue.. its gets a tad old after awhile... que sara sara...

And Hilter was the voice of reason huh ... most of you don't know the half of what happend over there at that time... I have to admit I didn't either until I sat and talked to my in-laws at one point and knowing they were strict Polish Catholics was a tad shocked to find out they were taken focefully from their familes as teens and used for slave labor in some of the most notorious death camps we've all heard about.. was a real eye opener into what the people that preached peace and equality through socialism really and truly meant and believed in their preverted way.

Its time this country moves out of the political ideology realm and gets back to the realities of REAL life and sees it all for what it is, that is known as moderation.. hence the moderates which you do find in BOTH parities and is usually a pretty good mix of both conservatitive and liberal to make a balance of common sense. Extremens on either end always end up screwing over everyone . Extremes by the nature of what they are .. never work.. hence the word extreme.

People like this Micha fellow are an interesting breed. They resent success and successful people. They dislike this country and have a perpetual grass is greener mentality. This is true even if they were standing outside of a gulag or concentration camp. They consider the defensive activities of law-abiding citizens bad and evil. They generally dismiss or absolve the criminal elements because they consider them dumb and lacking opportunity.

They are generally cowards and depend on the good graces of real Americans to bail them out when they come asking for help.

Could not agree more and have encountered them all through in life in many places for many reasons and the mindset is always the same. AND I find more often than not they are very threatened by females that are strong and independent and don't show the need for a man to rule their lives or continually give them permission to speak or do anything. Almost always they start on us with this "dyke, lesbian" crap. Which I personally find amusing but insulting since I do have life long friends that happen to be lesbians who are intelligent, highly educated professionals in the business world and I know they would be insulted by the stereotype as well.

Had one like that in a business meeting of some potential reps not long ago.. HE "assumed" that I was just the secretary there to take notes for my boss, and "my boss aka my husband" let him believe that to see how he was going to act towards me. Done for specific reason .. our biz, majority of clients are female and they are well educated, usually business women themselves and are quite capable of doing business one and on and most find this "you must be puppeted by a male or you are worthless" attitude insulting, most are married with families and hardly dykish in their mannerisms or appearance. The gentleman in question was interviewing to be a rep with us and its important how "reps" come acoss to both male and female' clientele in our field. He did not do well from the the start.. I usually ignore most of the Honey, baby, sweetie comments ... but this man was relentless in his bombardment of machoism at me. When they got to contract discussion time he asked if it was necessary I was there for such priveledged discussion and where was the senior ownership partner of the company ?

I smiled and said nothing.. my husband replied... you just asked the Senior Partner of this company to leave, couple of the other men laughed, they figured out earlier who I was without being introduced. The guy looks around and says its just you and me pal, these 3 other guys and that secretary of yours. I handed the man my business card and smiled and he gulped and said OH....... we finished our meeting and I shook his hand, told him it was nice to meet him and we would be in touch. He never so much as said thank you to me - he continued to talk TO my husband and ignore me. Obviously his return call was not an offer. When he asked why.. my husband told him it was obvious he was not comfortable dealing with women in key positions and many of our clients ARE female in those positions and we will not insult them. His comment was he would prefer to handle just the male clients.. During the meeting this guy was antigun, anti female except for the barefoot and pregnant clicque, anti gay, about everything out of his mouth was like watching the stereotypical character on TV or some movie that has to prove how manly he is and how macho he is by putting everyone else around him down for some real or imagined paranoia about them. We do not discuss anything private about our clients, but since we deal with musicans predominately, a good section of the males are gay, the females are NOT, but very independent females. This guy would self destruct in a few weeks once he discoved all his paranoia's about people were those he was dealing with and who paid his salary ultimately. ... like our poster here Micah :yh_cowboy

This city is now flourishing and enjoying economic propriety compared to its sister towns that surround her. Why? Their crime rate has tanked.

most people go blank when they see my name, i guess any name longer than three syllables and it's too much. the 'americanized' way to pronounce it, which is pretty much how i pronounce it, is

theo-dor-OP-oulos or perhaps even clearer, theo-door-OP-u-lus

i can usually get people to say it with this - Say "Indianapolis". Now say "Theodoropoulos".

I could not agree with you more, except for the single exception that our "government" needs to remember who it is, how it got there and WHO IT ANSWERS TO NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Therein lies the biggest problem with all the hopolophobes in public office. I wish I was in CA a night or so ago when Swinestein was up on her pulpit doing her thing ... and had a bunch of gun hecklers with me yelling " pull up your skirt and show us your .38 "
