This year the Superbowl ads will be going for about $3 million.
There are a number of companies that will not be placing an ad this year. Among them is GM.

I don't know but it will be interesting to see who does advertize... that is expensive

superbowl ads are usually the highlight of the superbowl... it saddens me that so many are opting out.

I doubt they "get it", they are just realizing that their business would probably be even worse if they spent that much on a commercial after the bailout. The big bosses just don't want to lose their jobs.
