I very pleasantly happened on this site when I was searching for info about "Success with house plant" collection.

I am Gian, I love dogs, unfortunately I just lost both my dogs in a fairly short amount of time, I missed my most beautiful Jasmine really bad.

I still have 2 cats, this is kinda funny since I was never a cat person, but the last few years, I have been taking on animal which needs a home, My last 3 dogs were and the 2 cats.

I also love gardening which is why I sign up here. I had no idea there were garden group website out there. I really should not be surprise; there is just about everything on the Web.

the picture is my beautiful Jasmine and my fine husband. (if it ever loads..)

thank you for letting me in.

Welcome Gian! this is awesome, another Canadian!

There only a handful of us here!

It's not really a gardening forum, however there is a garden section you can post in, myself, I love gardening, love my perennials the best!

So sorry you have lost your dogs, it is so hard when we lose our beloved pets.

Jasmine is beautiful! I love the countryside and river, and I see lily of the valley in the background, awesome pic!

We have four cats, 2 which are strays, and its a good thing to take in unwanted animals.

Oh my Gosh!

I finally found the intro page.........lol

Thank you for all your nice welcome comments. ; )

You won't believe what I did for quite a few hours in the last couple of days, I have been looking for this page..........it turns out; I was in the wrong Garden web site. the very next day from registering for this site I found another gargen site; registered for it but I did not introduce myself or leave any messages.

So when I was trying to find this (on the other site) I was getting really frustrated for not finding it. :-2

the first day I read alot of the new intros and welcome words and thought it was all so fun, so I was really looking forward to all your words...

well I am very happy and pleased to have find this page and all your comments.

thank you again : )

Hello Minks

I am sorry, took me a while to get back to you.

There has been so many response and with all my trouble finding my way around I was so tired yesterday when I finally found it I did not reply to everyone.

I am originally from Québec, lived in NovaScotia for 2 years and now I live in WA/USA since about 18 years.

You might say I am as much an American as a Canadian since I have been here nearly my whole adult life.

I have relatives in BC and used to visit regularly.

Just last August I visited my Mother in Québec.

I don't love the wheather here but it is amazing for gardening. Just about everything grows here.

when I get a chance I will share some pictures.

thanks for the Welcome words........ : )

Gian

I've never yet managed to get to Québec - I'd love to visit. Have spent some time in BC and LOVE Washington State! What a beautiful part of the world to live it. Is it very cold there now? Of course, in the Southern Hemisphere we're in summer now. And Sydney is pretty hot. In about half an hour I'm catching the ferry to Manly beach - which is where I usually go on a sunny Sunday. The sea breeze kind of blows away the cares of the week.

How are you Minks? Nice to see you too!!! Hope you're not totally frozen. (I am actually seeking out the white stuff next week - in Japan.. for a spot of skiing).
