The first message boards I joined are on the BBC website,...I was looking for gardening stuff.

The second and third groups I joined were Buddhist related (Soka Gakkai

International)

The 4th was A Gods Fight (for all religions)....too intellectual for me though !

I stumbled on to the 'Garden' by mistake, but I am totally hooked and love it here.

I've visited other forums but found nothing that interested me enough to join up.

My friends and their friends are a part of a community that we use mostly to pass along gossip and to stay in touch. This is the only forum I'm on where I don't personally know most of the members, but it's just as friendly as my private friends forum!

Well i belong to this one, and this by far the one I spend the most time at. I have about 30 aol, message boards. But I frequent them only on the wekend if I am home. And I have two yahoo ones. But I do like it the best. Because I can see the replys from my email.

I have a few that I'm a member on. One I created with friends, one I created on my own. I met a few others on the net and joined 2 other forums they had created and I really love knowing them and the members of their sites. I actually found this one on a forum I moderate for someone else.

So basically I regularly post on 4 forums

FG is where I feel at home. I joined another which seems to be a constant battleground and so I just do the occasional word game and consequently avoid being shouted at! I've also joined invisionfree which is a gentle forum about various approaches to spirituality and complimentary therapies.

throughout the scott peterson debacle i was at Court TV forums...but the personality conflicts were so vitriolic that admin kept closing the threads. the entire sad saga aroused great passions.

Well that really is not a surprise it. My husband and fought daily about him being innocent or not. we just didn't see eye to eye.

The Forum Garden is by far my favorite but I go each day to Soap Central as I'm hooked on Guiding Light since I was 15 yrs. old. Like to read the spoilers as I don't get to watch it every day. Before I found Forum Garden I went to another forum similair but not as large and pretty much sewed up by a cliche. Sorry but I'm not a clichey person more of a maverich. Gets me in a lot of trouble.

Ive laid the others to rest. Too much heat, too much battle.

Some of it I brought on myself some of it just the nature of things.

FG was and is serendipity for me.
