PinkChick is from Ireland too. Wouldn't that be cool to me up with some of the people from FG during your visit there? :)

Yeah it would! All I know for now is we will be landing in Shannon on the West coast. My sil is doing all the work for us and renting a house, etc. I'll know more details as the week progresses.

Galbally just gave some super tips! Who knows, maybe I'll see him there. We are avoiding Dublin and have no desire to go there. Will probs stick with the West coast.

We've got a heatwave today....a whole 18ºF! :p Sure feels better than the below zero temps we've seen.

And good morning to you Idgie.:) A heat wave would be real good about this time of the year around here also. It sure has been cold. One good thing is we have not got any snow in a few days now. My little arm's are getting sore from it and the snow blower sure got a work out this year. :D

Morning!

It has stopped snowing and it isn't as cold, BUT our hill is all ice. Hubby called to let me know that if I left the house today, be very, very careful going down the hill. Also, perhaps I could go out and salt it down.....................

Biology:

German cockroaches are associated with unsanitary conditions. They generally shy away from light and are attracted to warm damp areas. These cockroaches can develop in to very large pest populations within kitchen equipment, walls, motors, dishwashers, etc., they create a pungent roach odor and will eat most anything, which often left contaminated. The Oriental cockroach can develop in large numbers in irrigation boxes, around trash bins, grease traps and in underground garages. They too, have a strong roachy odor and feed on filth. Both cockroaches are disease carriers.

Thanks for the lesson Odie. I didn't know there were different types of roaches. To me there was only one kind, and I called them "yuk".

And literally my mil owned the building and would have this dude come out named Cookie to spray and of course it never worked. I used to call it cockroach birth control in reverse because it would get worse. It was literally disgusting!!! They were everywhere:mad: When we moved, I threw out all the bedding, etc. and threw out tons of books, etc. We only saw one after we moved out and it was in my radio and of course that thing flew right out the window!:wah: as I didn't even bother taking it to the trash can.
