I enjoyed going to sixflags this year. Accept my two year old did not want to go on anyrides. I still want to go on the typhoon before next month when they close. I have season passes and they cost me 220. dollars. I am going to start saving now. So by next april when they open here again. i am going to need four more pases and this year I am going to get the parking pass. Does any body have some amusment park tales, they like to share. :-6

Well on accassion my husband and I will go to whats called the four H fair here. and or the four town fair. Their are four towns that sponsor it, each year it's a different town. It's held down the road were my husband works. It's very much like a country fair. Is does not start till Sept. and runs yes you guessd it for four days.
Then we also have, I don't know if anyone heared about whats called the big E. Eastern States expedition. Each day of 15 days a new england state is represented. Yes their only Main, New hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, and Mass, RI. 9 days they do othere things. It's pretty big. You get even get week long tickets. Just like season passes. it's real fun for the kids. Because their are alot of animals there. The best it I only live about twenty minutes away.

Well I live across the river from six flags New England and we go almost every weekend. It's about a ten minute ride. we like to go to the water park. I mean we have the kids so we don't go on the real rides that much. My father last year went on the superman ride and he is in his fifities he was very BRAVE. You wouldn't catch me on that.

I live an hour from Cedar Point and my favorite rides are the ones where you spin around a lot. As far as coasters go I like the shoulder harness rides...lap bar rides scare me senseless because I'm thin and I once had an incident on one rather fast ride where I almost slipped out of the car! The lap bar didn't come down enough. Six flags is OK but when you live next door to Cedar Point you never go. The cost is about the same and I really prefer CP.

We are not far from Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. They have an awesome collection of thrill rides. I read somewhere that people can get petechial brain hemorrhages from riding roller coasters with high g-forces. I rode one of the old ones. It was so old and rough, and the ride was so unpleasant that when I got off, I had a splitting headache. All the newer ones, like Superman, Batman, Riddler, et al soar smoothly and give an exhilirating ride without shaking your brain in your skull like a rattle. Only danger there is the famous model, Fabio was riding one those soaring rides back east, and he had a mid-air, face first collision with a migrating duck! So look out for birds.:wah:
Oh, and the other thing- if you're seeing flashes or floaters due to vitreous separation or degeneration (ages 45 and up) take it easy on the g-forces, especially if you're highly nearsighted. You could get a retinal detachment.

Look what the cat dragged in.

I am envous of any one who lives near any theme park am dying to get to either any 6 flags or cedar point before I expire.
I went on the coaster in Las Vegas that runs through the NY NY I went with the father of the bride (wedding we went there for) and we had a hoot, we came off the ride and he had this to say...."you know when i was in the army we wore "red" coats so when you were shot the blood did not show, today I am glad I wore brown pants" Ahahahahaha that have me in tears of laughter.

I live near Denva AKA Denver and so wish that Six Flags had bought out Lakeside instead of Eleaches. Lakeside needed to upgrade way more then Eliches.
I think Bill Gates has a large share in Six Flags.
Want to find a babie sitter and take the wife to Six Flags one more time this year.
Use to be a lot cheaper when it was Eleaches. $5 after 5 went 4 or 5 times a month.
