Where are people staying? Where is the official meeting place?

I have no idea :wah: Different peeps are arriving at different times. Spot's in charge of mobile phone numbers so if you message him with your number he can contact you.

I just have this vision of various peeps wandering around London looking lost and bewildered ringing cell phones all day :yh_rotfl Hello.... Base to Spot :yh_rotfl

Can't wait to see Spot expose his umbridge in public as he has threatened :yh_rotfl

Given I don't have one that seems a touch unlikely.:lips:

I'll give him a call on sat am and see what happens. :sneaky:

This FG meet could seriously turn into an episode of 'Lost'.

I think we should also bring in some 'Bush Tucker Trials' into the day. I'd pay good money to see el guapo being forced to eat a witchetty grub :wah:

Or how about Spot having a fight with a Kangaroo?

That would work. Until the Friday Brigade show up we'll not have anything sorted but by dawn on Saturday we'll have enough detail posted for people to find us. I've a couple of spare cellphones with me if the need arises.

Now, i'm probably being a little thick here but if i gathered the main problem was getting all members in the same place. If you have spare phones, how can they use them until they have found you??

That's what the "by dawn on Saturday we'll have enough detail posted for people to find us" was about. The "couple of spare cellphones with me if the need arises" is about managing the group once it's assembled.

Visitors will be squinting into the winter London fog over the next day or two trying to decide which of the six million strangers is spot. As a helpful hint I'm likely to be denim denim with a either a navy blue or gunmetal gray pullover. Passers-by will be seen to instinctively flinch for I am well hard. If I see straw I'll be chewing a stalk but at this time of year, unless I pass a working stable in the morning, it's not likely. Listen for someone humming "I've Got A Brand New Combine Harvester" and baffling locals with the unfamiliar tones of Long John Silver.

And if I'm accompanied by an unmistakable Vicky Pollard, that'll be oscar.

It's not as though the US has no airports or babysitters!

You could be on a plane this lunchtime, here for breakfast and we'll have you back home by Monday morning. Don't you sigh in my direction young lady, you've had more outstanding invitations to turn up at FG UK meets than you could shake a stick at. You'd get more attention than foreign royalty.

I've decided that i shall be wearing my original 1970's knee high Doc Martins, my original 1970's 'Raven' Stranglers tee-shirt, my 'Rattus Norvegus' Stranglers Hoodie, the denim jacket that JJ Burnel of The Stranglers last hugged me in (never been washed since), and my skinny jeans that don't make my bum look big.

You won't miss me, I'll be with a strange yokel chewing on a straw.

This is the case of Mr. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who sued Winnebago when he crashed his motor home to make coffee at 70mph:

“In November 2000 Mr. Grazinski purchased a brand new 32 foot Winnebago motor home . On his first trip home, having joined the freeway, he set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the drivers seat to go into the back and make himself a cup of coffee. Not surprisingly the Winnie left the freeway, crashed and overturned. Mr. Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising him in the handbook that he couldn’t actually do this. He was awarded $1,750,000 plus a new Winnie. (Winnebago actually changed their handbooks on the back of this court case, just in case there are any other complete morons buying their vehicles.)

I still don't understand this for the simple reason that the driving tests in America are for automatic cars.

Whilst putting on make-up and breastfeeding a baby? Oh, and making coffee.

Travel in style, girl! Juggle two teaspons* and a pingpong ball while you're at it!

*teaspon = short handled piece of scottish cutlery used to stir the salt into their tea.
