I have been very concerned about this guapo so with my connections i asked to meet the Cabinet. Gordon brown was not available today so i was asked if i'd like to speak to our former prime Minister instead. I went to No 10 today under the aka 'Lauren' as i'm too well known in parlimentary circles now.

Yeah, we have the snow now in Ireland alright, about an inch at the moment, its 8am in the morning, but its not so bad, we probably won't collapse as a society until about 2pm today, in the meantime I must go and play with the street urchins and order a turkey in, we have to have second Christmas. :wah:

I didn't think it would build up this much but where the snow's undisturbed outside it really is six inches thick, and that's Central London. I'm sure it's melting off during the day but yesterday evening's fall settled in for the whole night.

It so bad here.They said on GMTV that Chelmsford which is my nearest major town has about 8" but ive just been out and where it came upto my legs its abit more than that.Chris's sister is in for a shock as she comes back from Jamacia today and doubt she will even be able to land and then to get from Gatwick to Essex isn't going to be easy thats for sure.They say theres more to come and living in a village with not much traffic the roads are going to be a night mare.I feel for the elderly and just hope most have enough food in and are keeping warm and if any of us know of one living on there own nearby and able to knock and see if all is ok it wouldn't be a bad idea.......oh and dont forget the birds.Im putting food out for my geese and duck and the birds are diving on it and the fresh water im putting out also.Oh well I wont be going anywhere for a few days with what there saying on the tele.......oh great joy:-5:(Hope everyone is keeping warm and have got enough grub in:D;)

Im sorry but were a nation of winging wimps...Extreme weather conditions my arse. God it makes me mad that we get a few inches of snow and we grind to a halt. Dont get me wrong, im sure some places have had a good snow fall and it maybe hard to walk in it but why is the tube closed??? Its underground for god's sake!!!

I remember having lots of snow and walking to school in it up to my knees as we didnt have a car and the schools didnt close...

Why cant trains be fitted with a snow plough?

Why cant buses have snow wheels?

p.s. Im moaning more at the Government based Companies that cry as soon as they see a flake of snow. Its a joke. We were warned of the weather last week and although we didnt get as much as you where I live ( inch and a half overnight and snowed on and off all day) we haven't had one gritter wagon on the roads.
