She's been drinking really cold water, it's the only thing that doesn't burn so bad. I can't get her to suck on popsicles cuz she doesn't like them. :wah:

She is getting lots of water in her. Besides her sinus and throat infection she doesn't feel too bad. She hasn't even had a fever with this. I did get a call from the doctors office and got a referal for her to see an ears, throat and nose specialist, now I'm waiting for mine.

No, but her sinuses aren't real bad, it's mostly her throat. I'll be able to have the specialist check it all out. I've just gotta wait til they call to set up an appt.

we now have a hexagon 28 gallon tropical fish tank!

tons of real weeds, neons, guppies, froggies, shrimps, and more!....all non-aggressive ones, froggies are sooooooooo cool and the shrimp you can see thru!:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

-with this new type of filter, you only have to clean it, and skim off the sides of the tank......the one we used to have meant completely taking everything right down, fish out and cleaning...........so glad for these new fish filters!

That sounds so cool Odie. I only have one little Beta fish so she's easy to take care of and changing the water is easy. We have a 40gallon tank for the turtles but are going to have to go much bigger soon since they are getting so big. After a lot of trial, I have learned how to keep an even balance in their tank and only have to give it a complete clean out about every 2 months. Isn't she pretty?? :-4

double clicked for turtles, soooo cute!

so when you say you have to clean the fish tank, why does it take so long for one beta?

I had anoles years ago, they are green and turn brown when they are cold, they loved their heat rock, and we put in branches and logs for them to climb and bask on, then we started breeding our own crickets, good grief, they multiple faster than the could eat them.

fav time of the day: putting the crickets in, watching the anoles **** their heads, listen to them, and jump to the nearest on and watch them grab and eat them, so cool!

I've read anywhere from a week to a month. Shhhh, I didn't tell her that info. Made an appt with the urologist this morning and she can't see him till the 17th/Feb! She'll have passed by then I hope, but what a waste.

Ok, I won't tell her, it'll be our little secret. :sneaky: I never knew it too that long to pass one of those...isn't there a treatment option instead of just waiting? Yeah, lets hope she passes it much sooner than the 17th...how miserable for her.

I just hope she has a refill on the meds she's taking. If she doesn't pass it by that date, back to the hospital for an operation.
