Stimulus Watch: Keeping an Eye on Economic Recovery Spending

This site lets you look state by state at what the money will be going for. I browsed through the A towns listed for Texas. I saw 2 frisbee golf courses, botanical garden, and a skate park. Hmmmmm not really something that requires stimulus money in my opinion.

What do you find for your state?

Nothing for San Diego so far but a neighboring community Chula Vista is slated for a dog park for $500,000.00. Could be used for a homeless shelter instead or fixing the damn street lights. :-5

It really hacks me off that my kids and grandkids will be paying for this nonsense!

Started doing a little reading on the site. The projects listed aren't in the stimulus, they are just shovel ready projects or candidates to get the funding.

Or what they call WAMS...Walking around moneys:mad:. Nothing listed for my little town.
