new mailman

Post by Odie »

We have a new mailman.........the other one parked his truck on the side of the road and walked up our driveway.

This one parks his truck and goes across everyone's grass, as he passed over mine today, not my for mail, but my next door neighbor, I though to myself, we just re-did our entire front grass last year.

As I watch the other postal workers, they go down the driveway and up the other driveway, without passing over owners grass.

I don't want or would ever be mean to him, but how can I ask him nicely not to walk on the grass all summer?

We take alot of pride with our grass, weeds come out daily, grass is smooth and green, no lumps or bumps anywhere and we would like to keep it this way.

Actual a neighbor phoned me tonight with the same complaint.

any suggestions?

A barbed wire fence?

Only temporary, or course :wah:

A polite "excuse me but" should do it.

If that fails then an equally polite letter to the mail company.

Odie with all due respect................... you have a problem with people walking on your grass?:-2 ............Really?

Is It a specific, almost extinct kind of flora? May i ask why it has an aversion to human contact?

just wondering:-2

what he does is passes over everyone's property, there are no fence's between our yards..........to put up a border would then divide us from my neighbours and would have to high enough not to jump over.
