I know one thing, I see lots of spring yard work ahead. Cleaning up bush, pine cones, etc. Urgh.....don't even wanna think about it right now. :p

Want to do some traveling this summer, but we haven't decided yet, where. Guess we'll just point the truck in a direction and just go! :-6

Yep won't be long and i will be out on the back 40 making short grass out of long grass for sure. Gotta give the zero turn an oil change and a coat of wax yet. Traveling sounds great. And i do think that's the way to go is just get in and head to where ever. :) I got some grass that may need cutting. :D

We do and it's extremely well run, glad its on your list, as said, its huge, so don't go in the hot summer, so much walking, plus the animals just lye around then.

you have to see our polar bears!

May or June.

...July and August here are usually quite hot, around 25 - 28c and that's not including the humidity.

If you have no problems with the heat, then anytime is fine.

and don't forget the Komodo dragons.......my favoite!

I did my shopping last week...food shopping. Looks like I won't have to go for another week as I bought enough to last two weeks. Wow, the price of food has jumped again! and I even went to the cheapy place. Cereal prices are around $1.99 per box instead of $5.99 per box at the more expensive places:wah:

I found bath towels and was looking for sheets, but didn't see what I wanted. Bought new cookie sheets, since my old ones were shot. We window shopped and went to Quizno's for lunch. Oh, and Yankee candles too. I love the vanilla lime scented one that I bought. :-4

I'm burning the one I bought over Christmas called Christmas Wreath right now. Do you get their catalog?

That and a complete waste of paper. I recycle all of them. My recycling is serious and I recycle everything. The trash guys laugh because they know I put everything out on Wednesdays.

Everyone is all better. Kids went off to school today but they will get an extra vacation day in the spring. Besides, I already paid for their lunches this month.

For the 3 of them I pay about $80 a month. It is far cheaper to pay for the lunch program than to pack the lunch. Fridays are pizza day and that is $1.00 per slice and .25 cents for a Huggie drink. Besides, I hate packing lunches:-5

I noticed my spring bulbs are pushing through the ground, up about an inch already! :-6

Hows this one then!

Just a little hard for me on mondays to get back into the real world. Retire sounds good but not for a little while yet. Nice to hear your bulbs are poking up just another sure sign of spring. :)
