He's been in the British press here also about this. I sympathise with the condition he has now but frankly that's what happens when you mess with what god gave you.

I have seen some real horror stories of cosmetic surgery gone wrong in womens magazines and i may be hard-hearted when i say this, but i can't help but think 'You did this to yourself'.

I don't feel bad for him at all. How many nose jobs did this guy get? He has no cartiledge in his nose at all, duh! He can be seen when he is a young boy and he is clearly a young african american child and now he looks pathetic.

I remember seeing a pic of him in the British press and his nostrils had actually caved in.

I feel some sympathy for him after reading what a tyrant and bully his father was to him when he was a small boy. He says his father constantly mocked his features which would explain his disire to alter his appearence, but he just went too far.

IMO, MJ is gay and has never confronted it. As for his dad yes I would agree with you there. the dad was tyrant and the mother was useless. His sister's have also altereded thier appearences too. They all look like him but at the same time look nothing like their other siblings?

I will say that what ever it is with his desire to change his appearence, he is a musical genius. My husband plays his music all the time in the car and there's no getting away from it that he is a legend musically.

You can do it that way if you like. I'd go for legend in the sense of someone of whom so many things are said that it's no longer possible to distinguish what's true from what's been invented. A legend in her own lifetime would carry that meaning quite naturally. The word started out meaning "what's written", any extension of the meaning has to be able ultimately to fall back on that.
