I been looking after the take-away tonight. Did you want me to send you a Kebab? garlic or chilli sauce? Onions with that Sir? and Fries?

Do you know that is one industry that is not suffering? Take-out food. We deliver as well. Still as busy as ever. :-6:-6

Oooh, yeah, I haven't had a kebab for ages. I also admit that the kebabs in England are much better than over here, we don't have the turks running the kebab shops here you see. They are not exactly healthy, but sure one won't kill me, a nice chicken one with the garlic sauce.

Lovely. :-6

I'll send one C/O Air Lingus :wah: One of the perks of the job..... eating all i can. The Turks do the best kebabs ever. Jalepeno peppers and chilli's in the salad as well. Did you know the average kebab shop like our friends takes between £4,000 to £4,500 on a friday and saturday night? That's amazing innit?

I'm not surprised, they really are great and good value. Though you wouldn't want to be eating them every day now. It was one of my favorite things about going out in Colchester when I was in university, (well apart from the women, who were also great), was the quality of the Kebabs. Yes, England has very high-quality kebabs, no doubts, also the Indian food in Brum is also excellent, I always have a lovely balti from this Curry place near Sparkbrook, with me cousins when I am over to see the Villa.

Oh by the way, I was gutted about losing yesterday to Chelsea, :-1 but to be fair to Chelsea they came to Villa park and did a good job on us. They were much better than us in the first half.

I think we were better in the second half though, so a 1-1 draw would have been a fair result.

Still you have to take your beating when you get it, so fair dues to Chelsea.

UP THE VILLA. :-6

I wasn't going to mention CHELSEA in case you cried but i see you've taken it like a man :wah:

My Friend's kebab outlet also does Pizza and we have 4 drivers on a friday and saturday night just going in and out all night with maybe 4 deliveries at a time. A pizza is a bit of yeast. flour and water for the dough. I know what he pays cash and carry for the toppings and the mark up in amazing. One 14" pizza will cost you £12 and it probably cost £1 to make. Deep fried chicken as well.....huge mark-up. I also know what a 60lb kebab costs, how many it makes and the mark-up.

We have some other muslim pals who come from Brummie and travel back and forward every day to open their resturant. If we want to eat Indian, we go to them.

Credit crunch or not, this seems to be one industry that's not suffering. The drivers tips are down but the orders aren't. Last night's average order value was around £20 still.

People will always find money for what they want.
