today it is cold enough to snow but the sun is out and I missed the weather report on the news:-5. I guess that's the end of snow for us this winter. Maybe I can jinx it and we'll get really bad snow in a few weeks:sneaky:. On one of my birthdays in March, 93 we got a white hurricane that came right up the coast.

Thanks babe. Are those daylilies? They are so pretty. I have two kinds growing - Laura Poo's & side of the roaders (the ones that grow wild all over the place).

They're gorgeous though. I remember one year when my neighbor did caring for a young brat (he hasn't changed since:wah:) but he pulled the heads off my daylilies. I freaked out on him! He thought I was mean:wah:. Well the next spring, I warned him "if you mess with my flowers again, I will have the babysitter spank you". It worked.:wah:

The kid is still a brat! He threw a fit last year and hit Quin....man, you should have seen Quin's big sister! She ripped into that kid. His mom finally called two weeks ago to patch things up. We haven't seen him since.:wah:

yes hun, use the list I emailed you as you can punch up the flower, see it and more info.

I love morning glories, but my arbor is in shade, so have to use the English vines.

We have two iron poles holding up our front porch and that's where I use the vines on. Also going to plant some sunflowers this summer in the backyard. I really want to use my new grow box out front, but hubs is not happy with that and I laughed at him & said who cares?:wah: I would like to make the entire front yard flower world.

we cut out two flower beds in the front.......plus I have hostas under the tree surrounded by beach rock........well all my gardens have beach rock.

plus we have a few nice shrubs..........

variegated ***** willow

variegated dogwood

and 2 peonies.

I don't buy annuals anymore......just to expensive, so I have tons of perennials..........I do buy annuals for my front deck that are in a few containers sitting on our table and deck.

I also buy 3 huge hanging baskets.......2 for front, and one on the garage.

We sit out front all summer long, so we want it covered in flowers........arbor is there also....and a stone walkway.

the back yard is for the pool we bought last year........I have several flowers and plants there as well.

Your yard sounds beautiful. Yes, I get hanging baskets usually 3 for $10 at the local produce junction, a summer fern for outback on the deck. I've got 4 huge containers which I fill with annuals plus some herbs. Just noticed this morning my chives & parsley are making a come back.:-6. Will have to buy a new Rosemary plant...use that all the time in the summer for cooking.

I go to a little produce place around the corner and get flats which contain about 48 flower plants in them for around $8. But I'm so glad you emailed that awesome list, now I can really play at making my front yard looking nicer. Yeah, you won't see me here much in the summer...most likely in the morning but after lunch...gone. That's when I come on at night.

Yeah, we sit out on the deck in the summer and I grill something. We always have a nice time out there and watch the bats flying around. At least they are eating the bad bugs:wah:. Just reminded me of something....corn on the cob! Oh can't wait to get that!:-4

wow, your flowers are cheap!

most of mine are bought from my nursery here......I pay a bit more, but its worth it....larger more healthier plants.

wal-marts......suck!
