thanks everyone. :-4 I am taking it day by day. It is getting easier but still miss the dickens out of her. Bailey, however, seems to know now that she isn't coming back. In order for me to get him to eat, I have to sit right there on the floor with him and make small talk to him. Other than that, he just lays by the dog door like he is waiting for her to come in. When I can, I play fetch with him or just sit on the couch and cuddle. He seems to like that the most. We will be fine in time.

Weather here is improving which is so very welcome. Supposed to get up to 58F today.Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, no coat for a change, just a light jacket should do it. :yh_dance

Dang it all, I just miss chatting with everyone these days.

Dinner came to the door and I was starved. I no sooner sat down in front of the TV and I fell asleep, woke up just in time to check my emails, here and then go to bed.

I am so upset at the moment. I need to go out an kick my car tire or track down my border and slap some decency into her. No mother just leaves her child with someone else and never even asks if it is ok. That is what has just happened to me. The boy isn't a problem, the mother is. Wish I knew how to spell adasity correctly but even that doesn't come close to the total lack of responsibility she has shown. Driving to Texas so she can meet up with a guy she knows? Like Duhhhhhh. If he wants to see her that much, he should come up here.
