Who would have you?

Post by Oscar Namechange »

Mr O and i were chatting today about his illness and if the worst came to the worst.

He was on the phone to his pal later telling him he'd told me to find some-one else if something happened to him.

His friend said 'No-one would put up with her'. Well that's nice isn't it?

I wouldn't actually want any-one else but it gets you thinking :thinking::thinking:

I wouldn't want anyone else either. Do I really need another person snoring away in the night, putting up with my bs. Nah, I'll hang onto the current hubs for the mo.

Pete's mate was in the car and i saw it so we got 3 witnesses. The police are chasing her as we speak for refusing to give details and leaving the scene of an accident. Oh goody goody.... I get to see those lovely police officers again.

Is Pete alright? What a nervy arsehole she is....can't believe she snatched the phone right out of his hand! So, she will delete the pic of her plates and what good will that do? You still have witnesses. She might be drunk too and maybe that's why she took off or she has no insurance.:-5

There is a car park for parents at the other end of the school but it means they have to park up and walk down a long path. They take it seriously over here too. And I agree, Pete should file assault charges against her. Did the police nab her yet? I also live right around the corner from a school and it is a total hassle in the school year.:-5 We are the first street that goes all the way through so lots of traffic in the am/pm.:-5

There is every chance our cctv camera picked it all up which will be great if she tries denying it.

It is an absloute nightmare up here at 3 pm when parents won't use the proper car park. What was annoying as well was Pete was just leaving the house to oncology at the hospital for an appointment. She was shouting abuse at him and there were little kids as young as 4 coming out the school. Some people :-5

Typical. Police don't tell you anything. When my daughter got into her accident the hunt was on for details...they wouldn't budge:-5. It took almost all morning to locate which station she was at & the next day took about 4 hours just to hunt her car down. Also a white car too:wah:. Daughter says white cars are bad luck. Is your car totaled?

Her front bumper's stuck in the front of our car though :wah: I'm so annoyed mainly because the way she swung round that corner as all the little kids were milling about, she could have hit one of them so easily.

Our police are real numpty's with not a brain cell between them. I'm wondering which one of them i'm going to get tonight taking my statement. They hate me with a passion as you know :wah: It's pretty obvious why she didn't want to exchange details and got nasty when he tried to take a pic of her reg..... but to actually grab his phone and drive off...... I still can't believe she did that :-5

They have crossing guards here to avoid things like that and when they put up their little stop sign you have to stop. There is also speed restrictions when kids are going to or leaving school. My fave is the buses that will stop and block the entire intersection when letting kids off/on the bus.:) All the buses have little stop signs on the side of the bus and they will record it if you go past that bus.

I've not really made a fuss over the years we have lived here but the trouble with these parents has been endless. He's since died but there was an elderly man a few doors down from the school always having to have ambulances out. One day we came out of our house and the ambulance had to park in the road because parents had parked in front of his house. We watched as they stretchered him out of the house to the ambulance between these cars and not one of them got in their cars to move out the way. That's how selfish people are.

I don't mind the buses so much as the kids have got to get on and off safely. Here, I've seen cars over-take the kids buses as they're getting off.

What can we do? We've even had the police up here taking numbers and still take no notice. Most of them have great big four X fours just to pick one kid up.

My kids are walkers...they walk home and are completely guarded by the crossing guards. I have a 4x4 myself but the air will do them good and is good exercise for them. Takes them about 15 min. to walk home. I only pick them up in the rain.:)

Detectives are dealing with her not regular plods. They got her for leaving the scene of the accident, assault on Mr O, criminal damage, theft of his phone and possibly no insurence as the car is not registered to her. They have photographed our car tonight and took her bumper out of it :wah: Mr O said they all knew who he was at the nick and he told them 'my wife hates you lot'. :wah: In hindsight, his mate grabbing me back in the house was lucky. I'd be in a lot trouble if i'd got passed him. Damn, I'll have to buy him a beer now. :-5

Nomad...... I have a spare flea collar if you'd like to come for tea :wah:
