Another wee prob...sorry

I have unticked that option on whether to have e-mails sent when you get a replies to your posts but I keep on getting them..

Any suggestions folks ?

Hi Snowfire,

Try going to your profile.

On the left side click on edit options under setting & options.

go to messages and notification

then default thread notification and click on do not subscribe and the save on the bottom

That should do it......I hope

if that doesn't work...try no email notification

Thanks Kathy Ellen but thats just the problem. I did all that but still get e-mail notifications

hit 'my settings', top left.

......go into edit options.

--just remember to scroll down and hit save.

I have followed this route several times over the past 24 hours. It doesnt disable my e-mail notifications

They're telling you how to turn off subscriptions to new threads.

The thumbnail is where to turn off existing ones under "My Settings".

If the system's really broken and you must turn them off, change your email address for a day or so to snowfire@mailinator.com and use that as a dumping ground until it's sorted.

OK that makes sense. The system isnt working in my case. I'll do that.

Mailinator - Let Them Eat Spam! has a "check your inbox" to see what goes there. You might find a request for confirmation in response to your change of email address if you look there.
